MY FAVORITE EVERLANE BASIC PIECES
I consider my personal style to be pretty classic. I like to keep things simple by wearing things that I find comfortable, look good and have many different ways of being combined. Closet staples are an obsession of mine, I can’t get enough of basic clothing in different styles and colors. With enough staples, you just need to find something extra that pops and you’ve got yourself a great outfit.
Something that I also find very important is the quality of those staples. If I’m going to use this piece for a very long time, it better stand the test of time and look good even when I’ve had it for years.
This is why when I found Everlane a couple of years ago, I knew I was in love. I’m completely obsessed with the brand and I’d happily let them take over my closet anytime. All the clothes are beautiful, high-quality, and they’re simple! Perfect for me. Plus, I feel great about buying their stuff because they are 100% transparent with their pricing, you can see exactly how much it cost them to make the item. They also share the factories they use to create their pieces! Each factory is given a compliance audit to evaluate factors like fair wages, reasonable hours, and environment.
Anyway, today I am sharing with you some of my personal favorite pieces from Everlane, to give you some inspiration
Everlane description: “A forward take on a classic. This V-neck sweater is made from premium Grade-A cashmere, with a slightly cropped relaxed fit for an updated look. ”
Everlane description: “Way better than vintage. For a modern take on the time-tested boyfriend jean, we designed this pair with a slightly higher rise, a flattering relaxed fit, and a leg width that’s right in-between slim and straight. Bonus: They’re made of premium Japanese denim with just a touch of stretch.”
3. For t-shirts, I have 3 favorites:
A. The Square Tee:
Everlane description: “Loosen up. This easy, relaxed tee has a square body for that perfect oversized fit, so you don’t have to keep buying your tees three sizes up.”
Everlane description: “A gamine box cut tee made from the softest lightweight cotton we could find. The roomy cut is cropped to sit right above the hip. It features a boyish crew neck and pocket detail, and the fabric is a combed cotton that gets softer over time.”
This is basically the Box-Cut Tee but it has the 100% Human logo on it, which is to support two things that matter to them—protecting human rights and remembering that we are more the same than we are different. For each 100% Human product sold, they donate $5 towards the ACLU.
Everlane description: “Our Chelsea Boot gets a modern revamp. Details like a leather heel tab and squared elastic panels offer a modern look and pull-on ease. It also features a ¾” stacked leather heel, textured sole, and rubber heel for durability.”
Everlane description: “The year-round layer. Our easy cotton sweater has an oversized cropped fit and elegant drape, so you can pair it with pretty much everything in your closet.”
6. The Bikini
Everlane description: “The essential bikini. A classic cut with a barely-there feel, our bikini is made of Supima cotton that’s super soft, breathable, and comfortable on your skin. No frills here.”
Everlane description: “This water-resistant anorak is an adaptable midweight layer that transitions as easily as the weather changes.”
Everlane description: “Play on. This backpack features a large main compartment, plus a slim rear pocket for your notebooks, laptop, or tablet, and a front slip pocket for small essentials. The side pockets are perfect for a water bottle, a mini U-lock, or your sunglasses.”
Everlane description: “Your all-day bag. This structured tote is made of premium Italian leather that always looks polished—from your morning commute to an evening nightcap.”
These are my current favorite basics, so I will stop now, however I’ll keep making new lists of Everlane and other brands I love as time goes on. Hope you find some useful stuff .
Hope you have an awesome rest of the week!
